a year ago ...

these albums kept me from going insane in my first few weeks in sweden. i especially like the doom and gloom feel of the cardigans' album. it goes well with the darkness of winter. robyn's is definitely one of the best in 2007, with fresh beats and wicked lyrics. while mika's is just pure pop fun.

thank GOD for good music. it will get you through anything.

busy-busy-han

whew! so far meron na akong 46+ hours of overtime this month. kasi nung umpisa ng buwan eh nasa pager duty (on-call) ako at madami daming tawag. tapos every week meron akong 2-3 night work.

di naman ako nagre-reklamo kasi madami akong ginagawa na di ko pa na-experience before, kaya exciting. di tulad nung nasa USA kami, kung saan madaming senoir engineers sa team namin, sila ang madalas makakuha ng mga juicy assignments at sa aming mga newbies naiiwan ang mga di nila trip gawin.

dito, ako ang bagsakan ni team leader ng mga assignments, may input ako sa planning at ako din ang assigned sa implementation at dahil dyan, madami akong natututunan. medyo matagal tagal na din mula ng maramdaman ko na 'high' ako sa work!

pero di pa tapos ang buwan, meron pang isang linggo. next week meron pa akong 2 night work, kaya gudlak sa akin! at magkano naman kayang tax ang kakaltasin ni sweden sa amin nito..... ayoko isipin.

walang sinabi ang bigote ni vhong navarro sa model ng gallerian mall. naman, mala rudy fernandez (sln) circa 1982 ang dating ng japorms na ito. di ko alam kung nagkukulang na ng mga models sa sweden at itong si manong ang nakuha. pero naman.... di ko kinaya.

here are some pictures i took during the first "photo walk" with some friends in the office. this is in a nearby forest. i am not much of a nature photographer, but i think the result was not bad. i wish i had a macro lens though (xmas wish #1), things could have been better.
