podcasts!

background wento: nung dumating ako sa sweden, wala ako tv sa apartment (hanggang ngayon), kaya internet lang ang pinaka entertainment ko. so, minsan hanap ko ang "best week ever" sa vh1, kasi kahit nung nasa US pa kami, madalas ko na pinapanood ito via tv or web.ang kaso, medyo mabagal nga ang internet connection ko, kaya putol putol din ang streaming, kay nakakainis manood.

minsan, nasa itunes ako, wala lang, tingin tingin ng free songs, etc. tapos, click ko ang mga podcast na available, at wham! andun si BWE! at free sya. so, download at subscribe agad sa video podcast! at ngayon meron na akong instant tv show!

mula dun, search pa ibang pwede panoorin (video podcast) or pakinggan (podcast). dami choices! ngayon meron na ata ako more than 10 subscribed podcast, from personal finance, mr. manners, joel osteen, tech giude etc. halos lahat ng topic meron dun.

so kung dati wala ako mapanood, ngayon may backlog na ako sa dapat kung panoorin at pankinggan. ang maganda pa, pwede i-download sa itune at dun pakinggan habang nasa subway etc. mahuhay ang itunes!

today, i turn...

wool sweaters

kainis.
last weekend may binili ako wool sweater sa h&m, natuwa ako kasi sale lang SEK150 (mga $25, mura na yun dito). bukod sa ok ang size at kulay eh masarap pa isuot. anyway nagamit ko sya twice sa office last week. sarap, kasi warm and fuzzy ang feeling.
kahapon, bago umuwi daan ulit ako sa h&m, kasi naalala ko meron pa isa dun sa sale rack, ibang color naman, swerte naman at buhay pa sya, so binili ko na din. yay!

kagabi, nilabhan ko sila according to specs: cold water, no tumble dry etc. fine.
matapos ang laba, UMURONG sila.

sinubukan ko isukat, kasi baka kako kaunti lang ang difference sa orig size. o hinde! para akong winnie the pooh, labas ang tyan! at bakat ang non-existent biceps sa sobrang sikip. imagine mo si winnie the pooh na parang naka superman costume (pero v-neck) tapos labas ang tyan.

from now on, cotton na lang bilin ko. huhuhuhu.
oh v-neck wool sweaters..... i miss you already!

UPDATE: tumawag ako sa h&m store kung saan ko sila nabili, pwede daw ibalik basta meron receipt. hehehe, buti na lang save ko mga receipts. yahoo!

ang nag daang linggo

tagalugin ko baka meron nagbabasa na kasama ko sa office (feeling!).
mga kaganapan sa nagtapos na linggo:

dami problema matapos ang software upgrade. problema ng isang operator na madali naman gawan ng paraan, pero nagpumilit pa din sila na ibalik ang lumang software. fine. ibalik. panggabing gawain na naman ito, at dahil ako ang bago sa grupo, syempre ako ang taya.
kinaumagahan, matapos mabalik sa lumang software, sabi ng boss ko, ok na daw ang problema ni operator, nagawan daw nila ng paraan. nampucha naman, sana di na kami nagpuyat. hehehe.

dumating na ang laptop ko, isang slightly used lenovo t60. ganun talaga, contractor na eh, di na brand new ang laptop na ibibigay sa yo. buti nga meron na-issue eh, kung minalas malas ka pa, bring-your-own-laptop ka pa. buti na lang di ako bumili nito sa US. gigil na gigil na ako bumili ng t60 bago umuwi sa pinas para sa sweden work.

yung, isang kasama namin (na nakasama ko din sa US) lenovo t30 ang ibibigay sa kanya. halos maluha sya, kasi doble ang kapal at 5 years old na ang laptop at balak na ata mag retire. wawa naman, akala pa naman nya same kami model.

ano pa ba? madaming bago natututunan, medyo nakakatuwa din. pampaganda ng resume. mabuti na lang at sa iba ako na-assign, kasi medyo bago na medyo alam ko din ang work. labo ba? basta ganun.

what's wrong with me?

these guys should be dead by now. they came with the apartment when i moved here. although, i water them sometimes, they should be wilting and dying by now. it's been a month already. i must be losing my touch, my "black thumb" is no longer working.
damn ikea, even the plants are cheap and reliable!

heater

i bought this last friday, when an office mate told me that it will be snowing in the weekend. and true enough, it was snowing come saturday morning. but i am warm and cozy thanks to my heater.
c'mon snow, bring it on!

what the hell?
di ba sabi ko nung last post ko meron balita na mag snow na next week? well, mas maaga sya ng two days! pero nung friday, kahit may araw, eh para ka pa ding sinasampal ng frozen tapa at tocino sa lamig ng hangin! but, by sunday it was a "normal" day with a high of 2C.
oh well! i guess winter is slowly creeping in!

walking around

napadaan ulit ako sa philippine embassy going to the pinoy store. it seems na ang ating bandila ay in perpetual pulupot mode sa kanyang pole. kada mapapa-daan ako dito, lagi na lang ganun, hindi tuloy nakikita ng ibang tao ang watawat natin. naks, watawat!. hehehe.

anyway, sa tapat ng embassy ay nakita ko ito, malakas ang hinala ko na xmas tree yan. i could be wrong, pero yun talaga ang feeling ko. sana tama ako.
