the apartment so far

the bedroom and the living room looks nice already. i will let garet pick out the curtains etc. i was surprised that ours and sophia's bed fit in perfectly. i was expecting it to be tight, but it's alright. they are not american size rooms for sure.
i don't miss the carpet flooring in our phoenix apartment, sure it was great when sophia was learning to walk, but cleaning it was a pain. paying for professional cleaning was worse. with wood floors, you just have to wipe it and it's done.
much work is still to be done. i also need to figure out where the recycling dump is. only the paper bin is present in front of the building.

t.i.r.e.d.

moved into our own apartment today. then went to ikea for some more stuff. yesterday was also ikea day to purchase the big ones like the beds, computer table, etc.

big thanks to N for all the help.

will post pictures once the apartment looks remotely nice.

btw, the moving van was an automatic this time around. GOD is good!

here are the pictures from karlskrona, a navy/college town (?) one hour by plane to the south of stockholm. nothing much here because we only had an hour to roam around the city in between breakfast and work.

long weekend

naisip ko lang, sana ang working week (40 hours) pwede gawin straight na two days. as in walang tulugan (kuya germs!). tapos ang weekend ay five days straight din. mas magiging masaya kaya ang mga mamamayan? sana pwede i-try.

blurb book

after much delay (laziness, lack of funds), i finally got to finishing and ordering sophia's book from blurb.

it is a collection of almost all the pictures on her first year. 938 pictures, 158 pages, $39.95.

i will post pics of the actual book once i get it.
