today we went to a pediatric dentist for sophia's checkup. her four upper teeth have stains in them (see pic). according to the doctor, this may be caused by bacteria, diet or vitamins containing iron. he was able to remove most of the stains (with me and garet holding her down) after a lot or crying and screaming from sophia.

we finally made it to the railroad park in scottsdale this afternoon. we planned to go there two weeks ago, but it was raining that sunday, so we ended up in our apartment with our goodies.
today was a sunny and a bit chilly day, perfect for a picnic. we brought some breadsticks and cheesesticks (from pizzahut) and some choc chip cookies for the kiddos. eunice and jigs had wrap sandwiches (yum!). jet and jake supplied the chips and drinks, and set brought delish pies from marie callender (double yum!).
the kids went to the slides, played in the sand and rode the mini train. the adults ran after the kiddos and chatted away the day. good times!
it was a beautiful cloudy afternoon when we drove to paradise valley mall last monday. my wife wanted to get her hair cut, but she did not want the usual supercuts (parang reyes haircutters!), and i remember seeing a fairly sltylish looking salon at that mall! she was very happy with the results. we we're supposed to grab dinner at in n' out burger (the best!) but the heavy rain started pouring and lasted until we arrived at our apartment 20 minutes later!
